In the darkroom today…
I’m back from my latest trip to Kyoto, and spent the day in the darkroom today, printing one of my favorite photographs from the trip - an image of Maiko Masaya-san exiting the machiya at the end of her sitting.
I managed to print the entire edition of 10 in today’s session (yes, I’m a slow printer, and also annoyingly exacting). The prints are looking great (if I do say so myself); I’ll be toning them next week. As such, this new print edition has been added to the print shop here.
A quick video of one of the prints in the wash bath is below. I hope you will consider adding this image to your collection.
