Leica Feature

"These photographs are part of my ongoing "In Praise of Stillness" series, a project based in Japan that explores the concepts of negative space and stillness. The SL2 camera and Leica L lenses are my go-to for this monochrome landscape work: the raw files convert beautifully to black and white and deliver stunning results. Much of the shooting for this series takes place in the wintertime in Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island. The SL2 system performs flawlessly in the harsh winter conditions thanks to its weather sealing and ruggedness."
